The client, a leading innovator of pipeline decommissioning and recycling equipment for the oil and gas sector experienced significant reactive demand for their pipe-cutting and pipe coating removal equipment from Australia, India and Canada.

Help the client better understand the scale of the current opportunities as well as identifying the key players involved in decommissioning in the oil and gas sector. The research was required to support their business development plans which included exhibiting and attending relevant conferences.

T&A provided the client with a detailed demand analysis of all gas pipeline networks in Australia, India and Canada and, along with the characteristics of the pipeline network such as geographical hotspots, length, origin and concluding spots, owner or operator, and nature of pipeline viz. width, internal and external diameter, coating on the pipeline, type of pipe material used, among others. Additionally, T&A provided a longlist of all stakeholders such as pipe yards, steel pipe stockists and manufacturers among others, along with their coated and un-coated stock details.

The client continues to develop relationships and opportunities in all three markets. Its current priority is Australia, where working with local partner the company is operating equipment in the Bass Straits, Opportunities continue to be developed in all three markets.
